Greta Boo

The poor girl is pretty much missing entirely from this blog, so I just wanted to marvel at the wonderful creature that is my daughter. She just turned 9 months old and oh yeah, there are MORE teeth on the way. Eeeesh. (She has five already. At this age Fin was working on his first one.)

She's been on the go for a while now, but her latest favorite activity is standing up. She often holds on with only one hand, but still plops on her butt when she lets go. Luckily, this just makes her giggle (as long as she doesn't also fall back and bonk her head on something behind her on the way down...)

In fact, she loves standing so much, we will often hear her chattering to herself in the crib in the middle of the night and walk past the room (not IN the room! She'd see us and start wailing!) to glimpse her standing and having a conversation with herself. That's also how she wakes up in the morning. Standing, talking, singing - happy.

She definitely has a cheery disposition, but she tends to save the double dimple grin for her big brother Fin.

Her other favorite activity these days is playing "Kiss the Baby!" Fin likes to join her, too.
